We Take Pride in Serving Our Community

Mission Plaza Pharmacy promises quality pharmaceutical services to the residents of Mission and surrounding areas. We take pride in providing top-notch customer service to every patient that we encounter.

We strive to be efficient and effective in every task that we take on. We put you and your needs above all else and make every effort to satisfy those needs. We give 100% of our service 100% of the time.

The Early Days of Mission Plaza Pharmacy

In early 1990, Mission Hospital relocated to it’s current site on 900 S. Bryan Road. It was here that Mission Plaza Pharmacy opened it’s first pharmacy. We were the first pharmacy in Mission to offer a drive-thru window and late night hours. Our name was inspired by the name of our city, Mission, Texas and the Doctor’s Plaza building located next to Mission Hospital.

During the early days, there were only a couple of independent pharmacies serving the Mission area before the outbreak of large chain, super market and big box store pharmacies. Over the years we have seen our city’s population soar from 30,000 to over 90,000 residents, however we have remained loyal to our simple goal: To provide access to healthcare and a commitment to service.

Our Continued Legacy

Over the last three decades, Mission Plaza Pharmacy has remained in its original location despite expanding to other locations throughout the Mission and Alton areas. Robert and Dora Espinoza, both pharmacists and owners, have been with Mission Plaza Pharmacy since the doors first opened in 1990.

They both previously worked at multiple chain pharmacies and wanted a more stable job that provided security and a work schedule that coincided more with their children’s schedules. This allowed them more quality time with their children and inspired them to excel in school and extracurricular activities.

Both of their children became physicians and now reside in Texas. Robert and Dora have always been flexible with their employees and encouraged them to seek higher education and spend time with their families.
